ALL ABOUT ABBY
Abby is an energitic and loving 9 year-old in the fourth grade. She lives in the beautiful state of Colorado and loves horses! Her family includes her dad, mom, two brothers (one older, and one younger), and one older sister. Her hobbies include riding horses, and hanging out with friends! She wants to own horses someday and likes doing anything that involves animals.
On thursday, January 29th 2009 Abby was diagnosed with Leukemia. Leukemia is a cancer found in the blood of children and adults, and affects bone marrow. The type of Leukemia Abby has is called Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), which is the most common form of Leukemia found in children from the U.S. She is currently undergoing various treatments, including Chemotherapy to fight her cancer.
